And, after admitting he was single, it has been reported the reality star split with his girlfriend – just before heading to star on the Channel 5 show.
According to reports, the ladies man called time on his relationship with Playboy model Lindsey Pelas just in time for his arrival on the series.
George Best’s son has been joined in the house by his ex, Bianca Gascoigne, as well as model Jasmine Waltz, and was “keen to be single” during his second stint.
An insider told the Sun: “Lindsey and Calum haven’t worked out.
“They had kept things going despite the distance between them but Calum was keen to be single as he returned to CBB.”
The source revealed there is someone in particular the 35 year old has his eye on.
“He has a real thing for Jasmine Waltz so was hoping to get closer to her but his chances have been hindered since his mum joining the show,” they revealed.
The pair had been dating since last summer, and had been sharing adorable snaps on social media.
But, while it wasn’t to last, an insider revealed they were still trying to be friendly with each other.
Another source told the publication: “Calum and Lindsey are still friends but he knew this was for the best especially with them spending so much time apart.”
While Calum is said to have his eye on Jasmine, there is something that might make his flirting awkward inside the house.
The lothario was shocked to find he has been joined by mum Angie Best on last night’s episode.
With the show being split into new stars vs all stars, he seemed comfortable enough with his fellow previous housemates – including Spencer and Heidi Pratt, and Nicola McLean – in a separate room away from the main studio.
They were given the privilege of watching other contestants’ VT’s as they headed into the house, but Calum had a huge surprise when Angie headed down the stairs and joined the new stars.
And his stunned reaction said it all.
“Is that my mum?!” he exclaimed in the jaw-dropping moment.
“That’s my mum! I mean we’re close but this is my time.”
OK! Online has contacted Lindsey’s rep for a comment.
