NASA Mulls Landing Sites For 2020 Mars Mission

Even as the Curiosity and Opportunity rovers continue to thrive on Mars, NASA is planning their successor, an ambitious multi-part mission that will entail two new rovers and a vehicle to return samples of Martian soil to Earth.

According to NASA, a panel of planetary geologists in Arlington, Virginia earlier this month whittled down the list of possible landing sites for the next Mars rover, due to launch in 2020.
