Hillary Clinton Declares 'The Future is Female' in New Video

Since her shocking loss in the presidential election, Hillary Clinton has stayed mostly out of the public eye. It’s fitting then, that in her first video appearance she delivers a heartfelt and inspirational message.

In a video created for the 2017 Makers Conference – which brings female leaders together to discuss important women’s issues – Clinton stresses the importance that the conference “shares women’s stories and celebrate women’s vital roles in the past, present and future of our country.”

The former Secretary of State shares why she believes females across the globe have the power to do anything they choose. And she doesn’t waste the opportunity to give a subtle poke at president Donald Trump by showing her support for the Women’s March.

Clinton asks women to keep the momentum going and to remain bold, because we need it now more than ever. Despite the current turmoil within the country, Clinton remains optimistic for the future.
