Atlanta Falcons fans are still in mourning, but some are taking the loss harder than others.
One Atlanta Falcons fan took drastic measures to rid his favorite team of the bad luck that caused them to blow a 25-point lead in the Super Bowl.
Twitter user @SouthernbeLLSU said her friend buried the Atlanta Falcons jersey he wore during Sunday’s Super Bowl after the New England Patriots came back from a 25-point deficit to win the epic game.
Along with the buried jersey, the Falcons fan – or former fan? – left a note to anyone who finds it. The note reads:
If you have unearthed this, you have not found anything vintage or cool. This shirt is bad luck … seriously re-bury it immediately.
If you are still curious and don’t believe me, Google Super Bowl 51. This shirt blew a 25-point lead. Put it back trust me!
